That documentary was an eye-opener for me. I am an avid CrossFitter and even though I THINK that I am healthy I know that there’s something not right deep inside me. I do eat a lot of eggs, meats, poultry, and fish but recently I’ve been coming down with kidney stone episodes in where I’ve passed two in the past 5 months. The analysis on my stones do say that it’s caused by high intakes of protein, which I’m sure I’m taking way too much of.
I am going to start a meal plan based soley on veggies to see what changes I feel in my body. I’m not looking to lose weight, although I know this will happen, but I really want to see the changes taking place within me.
It’s people like you that give this species hope!!!!

My hubby and I just watched what the health. We are so challenged by this message and will be making changes in our eating and moving toward a plant based diet. We have set a challenge to eat vegan for the next month as a trial. We have been reducing and eliminating many foods over the years. My hubby suffers fibromyalgia and digestive issues. We are excited to give this a try and feel very hopeful for more energy and increased wellness.

My whole family watched “What the Health” and unanimously voted to change our lifestyle to primarily vegan. We do eat fish once or twice a week but other than that we eat plant based. The recipes we’ve found here and on other websites are incredible and we’re not missing eggs, meat or cheese at all. Our only difficulty has been giving up cream in our coffee- so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for helping us change our lives for the better!
