No Bake Chocolate Pie

  • Yield : 1 pie
  • Prep Time : 15m
  • Cook Time : 3m

This pie is super easy to make and will satisfy all your guest if you if you make sure not to tell them there is tofu in it.  You only a handful of ingredients and one bowl! Depending on the premade crust you buy, you may or may not need to bake the crust. I had to bake mine for about 15 minutes. If you get a vegan graham cracker crust your won’t need to bake at all.

  • 1 Premade pie
  • 1 pound of silken tofu
  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 3 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup non dairy chocolate chips, melted

Step 1

If your Pie crust needs to be baked do that.

Step 2

Blend all filling ingredients except the melted chocolate chips.

Step 3

After blending, reserve 1 cup of the mixture and set it aside. Then blend in melted chocolate.

Step 4

Pour chocolate filling into your crust then pour in the reserved filling on top and run a butter knife though it to mix it in and make cool designs.

Step 5

Let it chill in the fridge for a few hours then...

Step 6

I made two of these yesterday and it was sooo easy and good!! even my fiance liked it. tastes great served with fresh fruit on the side (like strawberries). also, I added an avocado to the chocolate pie mixture before blending the ingredients (sounds weird I know) but it made it soooo much more creamy and delicious! THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!

We really like this a lot. But I would not be able to eat it(maybe) if I put in all that sweetener. The first time, I used a TBS of syrup. But after that the chocolate makes it sweet enough.
