Happy New Year, friends! If eating healthy in 2020 is one of your resolutions, I want to help you get started by sharing some of my favorite staples to buy at Sprouts! 

In 2019, my husband and I moved within walking of Sprouts and it has totally become my one-stop-shop for all of our needs. 

The produce selection is what draws me in nearly daily. I can often find fresh berries for .98 cents per package, bell peppers for .50 cents, apples for under $1 per pound, and … wait for it … the most perfect avocados 2 for 1 dollar!

It sounds too good to be true, right? Well, it’s true and I buy 10 a time. 🙂 And look how absolutely gorgeous they are! 

The bulk bins are another place I spend a substantial amount of time. Buying only what I need helps save money, saves space in my kitchen, helps me eat healthier whole foods, and also assists in my goal of reducing plastic. 

They even have these nifty reusable bags to make it easy for me. 

In addition to bulk staples, they also have an impressive bulk spice collection. 

Plus, frozen produce, which I always keep stocked. It comes in handy especially when I get back from traveling from a work trip and haven’t made it to Sprouts, but I still want to eat healthy.

And lastly, Sprouts has some great store-brand plant-based options, which are always the cheapest. Their high-protein extra firm tofu is really versatile and often used in our home for Tofu Scramble, Tofu Tacos, and Marinated Tofu. Their Sprouts almondmilk is the cheapest, and we always make sure to take our Sprouts B-12, which should be a staple in all plant-based diets.
