Avocado Pesto Pasta

My own recipe adapted from Chef Chloe.

I combined different recipes and made a great sauce. It is simple and easy! Enjoy!



  • 10 oz. penne pasta
  • 1 bunch fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted
  • 1 and 1/2 large avocados, mashed
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes



Step 1

Cook pasta according to its package.

Step 2

In a blender or food processor, combine until smooth: basil, walnuts, avocados, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil. Add salt to taste.

Step 3

Warm sauce slightly, then add to drained pasta and top with sun-dried tomatoes.
