Avocado Pesto Pasta

My own recipe adapted from Chef Chloe.

I combined different recipes and made a great sauce. It is simple and easy! Enjoy!

Avocado Pesto Pasta

Walnuts aren't your typical pesto nut, but I really love the flavor it brings to this pasta.

  • 10 ounces of penne pasta
  • 1 bunch of fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup of walnuts, toasted
  • 1 1/2 large avocados, mashed
  • 2 Tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup of sun-dried tomatoes


  • Cook pasta according to its package.
  • In a blender or food processor, combine until smooth: basil, walnuts, avocados, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil. Add salt to taste.
  • Warm sauce slightly, then add to drained pasta and top with sun-dried tomatoes.
