Super-Easy Quinoa Bowl Breakfast Recipe | plantbasedonabudget.com | #quinoa #breakfast #bowl #protein #vegan #plantbasedonabudget

Sometimes when you’re eating healthy, it can feel option-less when it comes to breakfast … but not anymore! This filling and fruit-packed bowl is full of yummy flavors like cinnamon and apples! The raisins add a bit of natural sweetener, while the brown sugar takes it up a notch.

If you’re not in the mood for a cold smoothie or your oatmeal is getting a bit monotonous this is a perfect choice! I know the thought of eating quinoa for breakfast might be a bit off-putting, but you will love it! Sometimes eating a protein-rich breakfast is all we need! You could try a tofu scramble, but you might just miss the comforting sweetness to start your day.

If you want to add even more amazing and nutritious toppings you could add a tablespoon of hemp seeds and a tablespoon of almond butter. Plant protein, healthy fruity carbohydrates, and energy giving fats would make this recipe beyond complete. If you don’t have apples, you can use an overripe banana and mash it into the quinoa after fluffing.

A great time-saving idea is to cook the quinoa before bed the night before! Leave it on the counter to cool down and top it with all the goodies in no time in the morning. Amazing, right? Or even better, if you know you will probably have one of those crazy mornings when it’s from the shower to door, you can prepare the whole thing after dinner. Cook the quinoa and once cool put it in a glass jar with all the toppings, but add the banana or apple last minute, or it will oxidate.

This recipe is really perfect for the whole family. Make one big batch and divide into portions. That’s it! Healthy and nutritious breakfast for the entire bunch! Should we dive into how budget-friendly this is? It might seem like quinoa is uber expensive, but if you get used to buying it in bulk, you will think otherwise. Take your container with you and buy it in the bulk section!

So, will you try this tomorrow morning? Let me know how you like it!
