How to Shred Brussel Sprouts

  • You can just thinly slice them up by hand using a sharp knife, but word of advice, watch your fingertips!
  • Using a mandolin is worth a try (but this may take just as long as slicing them up by hand).
  • You can use the slicing attachment you may have gotten with your food processor.

FAQs

Do I have to shred the brussels sprouts?

The thin slices though are highly suggested, eating a whole raw Brussels sprout covered in dressing would just be weird, and awkward, and grossly crunchy…and just all wrong.

Will this recipe be mushy?

No, since the brussels sprouts are uncooked, they are crunchy, sharp, which creates a fresh salad.
