This Chocolate Peanut Butter Bark Is:

  • A delicious vegan dessert recipe.
  • Perfect for chocolate lovers!
  • Plant-based and vegan.
  • Great for special occasions such as Christmas or New Years.
  • Only requires 4 ingredients!

Get ready to prepare an easy and delicious homemade treat to indulge in at the end of the day! If you’re like me and don’t have a double boiler, no need to worry because there is a way to prepare this chocolate peanut butter bark without the need for one. How? Using one medium pot and a small or medium bowl (make sure its circumference is smaller than the pot). Fill the pot up about a quarter-full with water and place the bowl dry one inside it. When the water is about to boil, add the vegan chocolate chips to the bowl and watch it melt slowly. Make sure you stir from time to time. It’s All in The Crunch

The best part about this insanely delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Bark is the crunch. We know that the vegan chocolate and peanut buttery flavors are a close second, but the crunch added by the peanuts and pretzels just takes it to the next level. But that’s not all, the saltiness is also key. The mix of vegan chocolate and salt is so good it’s easy to become addicted to it.

No need to worry if you don’t have any peanuts. You can add any nuts you have on hand and then add some sea salt to replace the salt in the peanuts. The same goes for the pretzels. Feel free to add anything that sounds good. Adding some raisins could make this bark a great option for your Christmas dessert table.

Dairy-Free Chocolate Chips

When it comes to dairy-free chocolate chips, there are few brands we love like Guittard’s semisweet chocolate chips, Enjoy Life Foods, the artisan chocolate chips from Nestle Toll House, or the semi-sweet ones sold at Trader Joe’s.

Satisfy your sweet tooth with this sweet and salty combo. Make it as a gift or keep it all to yourself.

The Ingredients and Substitutes:

This vegan treat only has 4 ingredients, most of which you may already have in your pantry!

  • Vegan Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips: 1 cup
  • Peanut Butter: 3 tablespoons
  • Salted Peanuts: 1 cup
  • Pretzels: 1 cup, broken into small pieces.

How to Make Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Bark?

Keep scrolling to the recipe card for the complete list of ingredients and recipe instructions!

Begin by using a double boiler or microwave to melt the vegan chocolate and peanut butter into smooth, creamy, goodness.

Next, turn off the heat and add the peanuts and pretzel pieces and stir until coated.

Then, you are going to line an 8 x 8 baking dish/pan (a 9×9 baking dish/pan will work, too) with parchment paper and pour in the chocolate mixture. Place it into the refrigerator for an hour or until the chocolate is solid. If you’re in a rush, you can place it in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Finally, once it’s solid all the way through, use a butter knife to crack it into small pieces. Place the pieces in an air-tight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to a week.
