I always forget how much I love Guacatillo. They serve it at my absolute favorite restaurant in the entire world, Flacos in Berkeley, CA. If you’re ever in the bay area, do yourself a favor and check them out. This salsa is not nearly as good as theirs, but it’ll hold me over until the next time I’m in the bay.

Also, usually I eat this with corn chips or throw it on top of my burrito or tacos. Since I’m eating raw right now, it tastes just fine with carrots. 🙂

Ingredients

  • 3-4 avocados, pitted
  • 2 tomatillos, husked and washed
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 red onion
  • jalepeno, halved and seeded
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Method

Step 1

Throw all the ingredients in the blender (avocados without skins), and blend it up!
