No Bake Chocolate Pie

This pie is super easy to make and will satisfy all your guest if you if you make sure not to tell them there is tofu in it.  You only a handful of ingredients and one bowl! Depending on the premade crust you buy, you may or may not need to bake the crust. I had to bake mine for about 15 minutes. If you get a vegan graham cracker crust your won’t need to bake at all.

Ingredients

  • 1 Premade pie
  • 1 pound of silken tofu
  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 3 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup non dairy chocolate chips, melted

Method

Step 1

If your Pie crust needs to be baked do that.

Step 2

Blend all filling ingredients except the melted chocolate chips.

Step 3

After blending, reserve 1 cup of the mixture and set it aside. Then blend in melted chocolate.

Step 4

Pour chocolate filling into your crust then pour in the reserved filling on top and run a butter knife though it to mix it in and make cool designs.

Step 5

Let it chill in the fridge for a few hours then...

Step 6

CHOW DOWN!
