Apple Cranberry Crisp

This is hands down the best apple cranberry crisp recipe you’ll try! It is a great twist on the class apple crisp dessert.


– 3/4 C of all-purpose flour – 1/4 C of packed brown sugar – 1/2 tsp of salt – 2 tbsp ½ cup of granulated sugar, divided – 1/2 C of cold vegan butter, cut into small cubes – 1 C of rolled oats – 2 tbsp of lemon juice – 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon – 1 C of dried cranberries – 6 apples, peeled and chopped

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a large bowl, use a pastry cutter or knife to cut the flour, brown sugar, salt, and 2 tablespoons of sugar into the margarine, until it becomes coarse. Add the oats and mix together by hand into pebble sized pieces. Put the bowl in the freezer.

Mix the lemon juice, cinnamon, dried cranberries, and remaining sugar in a bowl with the chopped apples.

Pour the apple mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the frozen topping thoroughly across the top. Place in the oven and bake for 55-65 minutes.
