This golden and delicious Buttery Lemon Tofu can be flavored with anything you like or have at hand. Some hot chilies, capers, olives, or anything you want!
– 1 16-oz block of extra firm tofu, drained and pressed – ¼ tbsp of soy sauce – 3 tbsp of lemon juice – 1 tsp of turmeric – 2 tbsp of Flora salted vegan butter – 1 medium onion diced – Steamed asparagus cut into one-inch pieces – 3 cloves of garlic cloves
Turn the tofu onto its side lengthwise and cut it into slices. Then, cut those slices into 2 triangles. This should yield about 16 triangles.
Place the tofu slices directly onto the pan (scoot the veggies out of the way with a spatula) and cook for 1 minute on each side or until lightly browned on each side.
