This comforting Golden Milk can warm you from the inside out on those dreary grey days! Play around with the spices until you find your perfect mix!
– 1 ½ C of whole plant-based milk
– 1 tbsp of maple syrup or agave
– ½ tsp of vanilla extract
– 1 tsp of ground turmeric
– ¼ tsp of ground cinnamon
– ⅛ tsp of ground ginger
– Pinch of black pepper
In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, heat the plant-based milk, maple syrup (or agave), vanilla extract, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and pinch of black pepper, and whisk regularly for about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and serve when it’s hot to drink but not yet boiling.
