High Protein Chocolate Waffles
Are you looking for a super decadent but uber healthy breakfast recipe? These chocolate waffles are to die for and they have a secret ingredient!
– 15 oz of black beans (1.5 cups cooked beans)
– 3/4 C of plant milk
– 7 tbsp of maple syrup (can substitute for a bit of sugar)
– 2 ripe bananas
– 1 C of whole wheat flour
– 1/2 C of cocoa powder
– 2 tsp of baking powder
– 1/2 C of vegan chocolate chips
Add black beans, plant milk, maple syrup, cocoa powder, and bananas to your blender and blend until smooth.
Add in the whole wheat flour and baking powder to the blender and blend until just combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Cook per your waffle maker instructions.
