Pistachio can be expensive but it's so delicious and crunchy on this tofu. It can be served with rice or pasta and a little sauce on top goes a long way
– 10 oz of tofu– 1/2 C of shelled pistachios– 3/4 C of bread crumbs – 2 1/2 tbsp of soy sauce– 2 tbsp of Hoisin sauce– 1/8 tsp of sriracha– Black Pepper to Taste
Preheat the over to 400Cut the tofu into fillets, and brush on 2 tablespoons of soy sauce on both sides. Allow to sit and marinate for about 10 minutes
Dip the tofu fillets into the mixture, then into the bread crumb mixture, and place on a lightly oiled baking sheet. You may want to add more bread crumbs to the fillets by gently pushing it down on top.
