My two boys love pasta. So, I came up with this recipe to mimic a certain canned pasta product that you may or may not have eaten as a child. It’s super simple (only three ingredients!) and is ready in about 15 minutes.

Ingredients
7ouncesof small, uncooked pastaI used alphabet-shapes. Stars would be cute, too.
16 ouncesof tomato sauce2 smaller cans
3tablespoonsof vegan butter
3 tablespoonsof nutritional yeast
1 /2teaspoons of salt
1 1/2teaspoonsof granulated sugar
1/2teaspoonof onion powder
Instructions
In medium saucepan, cook pasta according to package.
When tender, drain and return to pot. Stir in tomato sauce, butter, nutritional yeast, salt, and onion and garlic powders. Taste for seasoning.
Notes
If you want it a little sweeter, add a bit more sugar. If it's too sweet for you, add in a couple drops of apple cider vinegar.
