You can just dunk these in your favorite condiment or use them as a topper, like on a salad! They are perfectly crispy.

Ingredients
1blockof tofu, sliced into strips
1/3cupof flour
1/2cupof bread crumbs
1/2teaspoonof cinnamon
1/2teaspoonof chili powder
1/2teaspoonof salt
pinch of pepper
pinch of italian seasoning
1/2cupof almond/soy/rice milk
1Tablespoonof cornstarch
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400.
Cut the tofu into strips and press the water out of them. I usually prep my tofu first, roll them up in a cloth, and let them sit there while i occasionally push down on them.
In one bowl, whisk the milk and the cornstarch together. In another bowl, mix all the remaining ingredients together.
Dip the tofu strips into the milk, then the dry mix, coating them completely, before placing on a non-stick or lightly oiled baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, flip the sticks over, and bake for another 15-20 minutes or until nicely browned all over.
Notes
This takes just a few minutes to prepare (and can easily be made gluten-free) but a bit longer to bake. Yeah, bake these pups instead of frying them and cut out the oil all together. Also, feel free to play with the spices to give them whatever kind of kick you’re looking for.
