How to make a quick 5-minute strawberry juice in a blender for a sweet, refreshing, pure strawberry juice packed with vitamin C, E, folate, and antioxidants!
1 to 2tablespoonsof agave or maple syrup(optional)
Instructions
In a blender or food processor, blend the strawberries and agave and maple syrup (if using) until the strawberries are completely pureed.
You can drink with pulp included or strain it using a cheesecloth or nut milk bag.
Serve chilled.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness: The amount of sweetener you need will vary from batch to batch based on how sweet your berries are. Blend the berries first before adding sweetener, as you may not need any at all, then add a tiny amount at a time (pulsing in between) to reach your desired flavor.
Adjust the consistency: You can leave it pulpy or strain some or all of the pulp.
Dilute the juice if preferred: For a thinner consistency and lighter, subtler flavor.
For a more concentrated juice: Transfer the strawberry puree and simmer it on the stovetop with your sweetener of choice until it’s slightly reduced, then enjoy or strain first. This version is slightly thicker with a more concentrated flavor. It also doubles up as an almost ‘syrup’ to drizzle over nice cream, oatmeal, pancakes, etc. Add extra water if you accidentally reduce it too much.
