small jalapeño
seeded and finely diced

red onion
finely diced

avocado
diced (optional)
Instructions
Properly wash all your produce for the recipe with Veggie Wash®
In a medium bowl, combine the strawberries, jalapeño, red onion, and cilantro.
Add the lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Gently toss to combine.
Fold in the avocado if using.
Taste and adjust the lime juice or salt as needed.
Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving.
Notes
For a sweeter salsa, use very ripe strawberries.
Remove the jalapeño seeds for a milder salsa or leave some in for extra heat.
Serve with tortilla chips, tacos, grilled tofu, or black bean bowls.
For extra flavor, add ½ cup diced mango or pineapple.
