This peaches and cream smoothie bowl feels like eating ice cream for breakfast. With only 3 ingredients, it's as easy as it is delicious and nutritious. Add your favorite toppings for a delightful breakfast, snack, or even a light and refreshing lunch or dinner.
5.3ozpeach yogurt, (I used Siggi's) - vanilla or coconut yogurt also works.
favorite toppings( like coconut, nuts/seeds, granola, berries, more peach, etc.)
Instructions
First, if needed, slice the nectarines/peaches and bananas, spread them across a tray, and freeze until solid (4-5 hours or overnight). I don’t recommend just throwing them all in a container or bag, as they’ll freeze into a solid clump that’s a nightmare to pull apart or blend.
Blend the peaches, banana, and yogurt until smooth and creamy. If your blender has one, use the tamper to push the frozen fruit towards the blade.
Transfer to a wide bowl, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy!
Notes
Use quality ingredients: Aka fresh, seasonal fruits and yogurt you enjoy.
Freeze properly: Make sure to chop small pieces and flash-freeze them in a single layer, not touching. That way, it’ll blend quickly and easily.
When blending: A high-speed blender with a tamper works best, allowing you to push the fruit against the blades. If your machine is really struggling to blend, add a small splash of water or milk to get things moving.
Avoid over-blending: Or it’ll melt the smoothie. Blend just enough and use short pulses for a thick, ice-cream-like texture.
