ripe plums
pitted and chopped

of brown sugar
plus more for sprinkling on top

of all-purpose flour

of quick oats

teaspoon
of salt

teaspoon
of allspice

of cinnamon

teaspoon
of vanilla extract

cup
of melted vegan butter
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (176 degrees C) and grease a baking 8x8 dish.
Place the chopped plums in the prepared baking dish and mix in ¼ of the brown sugar.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, oats, salt, allspice, cinnamon, vanilla, and melted vegan butter. Mix until well-combined.
Spoon the oat mixture onto the plums and spread evenly. Sprinkle with more brown sugar (optional).
Place in the oven and bake for 40 minutes.

Notes
If you have tart plums, feel free to use 1 cup of sugar instead of ¾ cup. If you have really sweet plums, feel free to go down to ½ a cup.
Tastes great with vegan vanilla ice cream.
This dish is best served fresh but can be stored in an
airtight container
in the refrigerator for 3 days.
