Chocolate Chip Banana Bites

These are really easy to make and great for snacking or kid’s lunches. If you add cacao nibs instead of chocolate chips it will be raw. <3 Double the recipe and make smaller balls for party snacks!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup oats (chopped in a blender or food processor)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons liquid sweetner (I use an agave/ maple syrup mixture)
  • 2 Tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 a ripe banana
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats (left un-blended)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (or cacao nibs to make it raw)

Method

Step 1

Take the first 3/4ths cup of rolled oats and bled in a blender or food processor. It doesn't need to be as fine as oat flour though

Step 2

Then add and blend all ingredients except the chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of rolled oats.

Add chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of oats and stir in

Form balls and put them in the fridge to set
