Cookies are one of my favorite things about the holidays. I mean, who doesn’t love sugar cookies and peppermint chocolate chip cookies? I love them so much that I usually host a cookie exchange so I can try way more than I can bake. And gifts? They usually take care of more than half of my gifts to people. Over the years, I’ve tried many, and these are the best vegan holiday cookies around!
I’m keeping this list small and exceptional. I could easily feature a hundred recipes, but that’d be overwhelming … let’s keep it to a minimum of the best!
Table of Contents
1. Triple Ginger Cookies
These spicy vegan holiday cookies are perfect for the holiday season! They have all those warming flavors that go so well with a warm hot chocolate or a delicious and festive plant-based eggnog. Plus, you can replace your tradition of baking a gingerbread house if youโre looking to keep things simple.
1. Sugar Cookies
In our home we celebrate Chrismukkah and these Chrismukkah cookies made using the recipe from It Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken are my favorite.
3. Peppermint Chocolate Chip Cookies
Everyone loves chocolate chip cookies, right? Well, with just a bit of peppermint goodness they quickly become holiday cookie festive.
4. Gingerbread Cookies
Christmas classics by Sweet Simple Vegan
5. The Best Oatmeal Cookies
This recipe is so good that we updated it and included it in The Friendly Vegan Cookbook. Here’s the original from World of Vegan!
6. Raspberry Thumbprint Cookies
What I love about this one is that it’s super easy and requires few ingredients! Plus, it’s really tasty!
I know this isn’t a cookie, but it’s too good to pass up!
Hope you find one that you enjoy! If you do, don’t forget to tag @plantbasedonabudget on Instagram. I love seeing and reposting your photos!
What is the non cookie after the Thumbprint one? All I see is a yummy photo tease.
