All during fall, I eat as many pumpkin-flavored things as I can! These amazing pumpkin chocolate brownies are one of them! Super simple to make and so delicious!

The Easiest Pumpkin Chocolate Brownie!

Using very simple and easy to get ingredients you can make the perfect healthy plant-based dessert or treat. Try to resist eating it straight out of the tin! This is one of those recipes where you don't have to mix wet ingredients separately or use 10 different bowls; you'll be happy to know that one bowl and a baking pan are all you need. After you're done you'll be thankful not to wash a mountain of dishes. Pumpkin chocolate brownies for the win!

Pumpkin Chocolate Brownies

If you're thinking about how to curb your sweet afternoon cravings with a healthy treat then this pumpkin chocolate brownies will do the trick!

  • 1 ¼ cups of flour
  • ½ cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ cups of pumpkin puree
  • cup of agave or maple syrup (sugar works too)
  • ¼ cup of vegetable or canola oil
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease baking 9x9 inch (17x17 cm) pan.
  • In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients together thoroughly until completely smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until cake is almost set but the center wobbles slightly. (The brownie should be moist on the inside but now raw.)
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan.
  • When it is completely cooled., cut into squares and enjoy.


Out of pumpkin? Try pureed sweet potato or butternut squash.
