- Soy Sauce: Gives the vegetables a great savory and umami flavor.
- Balsamic Vinegar: This sweet and tangy vinegar brightens up the dish and makes it even tastier.
- Salt and Pepper: To taste.

Variations and Add-ons
- Gluten Free: If you want to make this dish gluten-free, just swap the soy sauce with tamari.
- Paleo: To make it Paleo friendly, use coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Also, you can use lemon juice instead of balsamic vinegar.
- Sweet: You can add maple syrup to the dressing to give it a touch of sweetness!
- Spicy: Give your Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts a punch of heat by adding chili flakes or chili powder.
- Cheesy: Instead of tossing in a soy-vinegar dressing, you can also just sprinkle some vegan parmesan or nutritional yeast before serving it.
Toni’s Recipe Tips for Crispy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts
- Cut evenly: Choose uniformly-sized Brussels sprouts as much as possible so they cook evenly. If you have pieces that are smaller than the others, keep them intact. If some are bigger than the rest, cut them in quarters.
- Adjust cooking time: Adjust the cooking time depending on the size of the sprouts you have. Add a few more minutes if you have larger ones.
- Single layer: Always cook in a single layer to achieve that perfect crispiness. If your air fryer is on the small side, cook in batches instead.
- Serve immediately: Serve it immediately for best results. If the balsamic Brussels sprouts are left in the dressing too long, they will lose their crispiness. If you are making this in advance, keep the veggies warm and toss them in the dressing just before serving.
