There’s no better way to freshen up than with a cold and thirst-quenching drink! This cucumber watermelon lemonade is perfect for those hot summer days when sitting in the shade sipping a cold drink. It’s not only delicious, but it’s also very hydrating since it contains cucumber and watermelon which are very high water content. We can’t sing its praises enough, it’s great! How Do You Prepare Cucumber Watermelon Lemonade?

Whipping up this delicious drink couldn’t be easier! You’ll need the juice of 5 lemons, 8 cups of water, ¾ cups of sugar, ½ a cucumber, and ¼ of a small watermelon. It’s as simple as cutting and slicing some for the ingredients and mixing them all together in your pitcher.

There are many different add ons and we encourage you to play around. Adding some basil leaves instead of mint can add a nice kick to it. You can even use the base of this drink to prepare a nice fruity mocktail. You’ll have to let us know how you try it!

Ingredients
  

  • 5 large lemons halved
  • ¼ of a small watermelon cut into 1-inch chunks
  • ½ of a cucumber peeled and sliced
  • ¾ cups of sugar
  • 8 cups of water

Instructions
 

  • Juice your lemons and pour the lemon juice into a pitcher. Add the 8 cups of water, sugar, watermelon, and cucumber and stir well.
  • If you're patient enough to let it sit overnight in the refrigerator, it is extra amazing the next morning.
