A Perfect Summer Drink

This refreshing combination of blackberries, blueberries, grape juice, mint, and lemon juice is so unique and delicious. By using frozen berries (or ice cubes) it will turn out with a kind of slushy consistency, which makes it a perfect drink for a hot summer day. The addition of lemon juice gives it an almost berry lemonade feeling which means it’s a very thirst-quenching drink.

Frozen Mixed Berry Smoothie

As always, you are always welcome to experiment with different additions or substitutions, in this case, you could replace the blueberries and blackberries with some strawberries or cherries. Or simply use mixed berries, which you can find in almost every grocery store and are super affordable. We always make sure to have a couple of bags in our freezer just to be prepared.

Frozen fruits are a great staple if you have a limited budget and you are trying to make healthier choices. Stocking up on frozen fruits and vegetables is a great way to start. Not only are they very affordable, but you don’t have to worry about an expiration date. Win-win!

Berries are filled with antioxidants that should be incorporated into your diet because they can lower your cholesterol levels and help fend off heart diseases.

Berries are laden with Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, fiber, potassium, and folate. If that isn’t a sign for you to try this recipe so that you get all its health benefits, I don’t know what will.
