Ingredients

  • 1 cup of cooled coffee (regular or decaf)
  • ¼ cup of almond/non-dairy milk
  • a few pinches of cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons of hemp seeds
  • splash of vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ frozen bananas, sliced into coins
  • handful of ice
  • sweetener if needed

Instructions

  • Chill some leftover coffee in an airtight container for a few hours (or overnight) before making this smoothie, or be prepared to use a little extra ice.
  • Place the non-dairy milk, cinnamon, vanilla and hemp seeds into a blender and mix until a milky consistency forms. Add in the coffee and sliced bananas and continue mixing until smooth.
  • Add in the ice last, and blend on high until there are no chunks remaining. Taste for sweetness and add your favorite plant-based sweetener or sugar alternative. Pour into a glass and enjoy with a straw!

Notes

Try pumpkin seeds if you can't find hemp seeds.
