Why You’ll Love this Healthy Fruit Pizza Recipe!

I’m a huge fan of summer fruits pizza, and how fun, refreshing, and pretty they are. It’s the perfect summer dessert with how quick and easy it is to prep, and with the rejuvenating fruit topping. This recipe takes the classic fruit dessert pizza and gives it a healthy spin. Now it’s not only a dessert fruit pizza, but nourishing enough to be a breakfast pizza or a hearty snack fruit pizza! Who would say no to that?!
First, I use Oggi Foods’ Cauliflower Crust to make the prep extra quick and easy. As a result, it bakes in only 5 to 7 minutes! Then, I slather on some nut or seed butter for some nourishing fats and protein to energize. Next, I layer it with my favorite summer fruits, for nutrients, antioxidants, and hydration. Finally, when I’m feeling fancy, I drizzle it with a sweet chocolate topping. Delicious, easy, and so versatile!
Plus, the Cauliflower Crust is vegan, nutritious, and allergen-free made with the finest GMO-free ingredients. This award-winning pizza crust is the only one in the industry with rising air pockets! They are hand-stretched and stone-baked, giving them that authentic Neapolitan flavor the Oggi Foods are known for.
So after using one to make this breakfast fruit pizza, try making a Vegan BBQ Pizza or a Vegan Thai Pizza Recipe!
Ingredients for Healthy Fruit Pizza
Enjoy layers of deliciousness using only a handful of ingredients.

- Oggi’s Cauliflower Pizza Crust – Check out a retail grocer near you. Visit their store locator here. Look for this gluten-free crust in the frozen section.
- Nut butter – You can use whatever nut butter you have on hand. If you are allergic to nuts, you can seed butter instead.
- Fruits and berries – In this recipe, I used banana slices, sliced strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. I love the combination of creamy sweetness and juicy tartness in every slice! However, you are welcome to use any fruits you like.
- Vegan melted chocolate – This is optional. However, a bit of dairy-free chocolate pairs so well with the fruit and nut butter.
Ingredients, Substitutes, Add-ons, and Variations
- Make it lighter: If you want to make your fruit pizza lighter, you can always use vegan whipped cream or vegan yogurt instead of nut butter.
- More fruit options to try: mango, peaches, kiwi, grapes, strawberries, papaya, pomegranate seeds, cherries, oranges, and melons.
- More sweet toppings: You can also drizzle it with caramel syrup, maple syrup, or this easy strawberry glaze.
- Garnishes: Garnish your fruit pizza with your fave nuts, coconut flakes, and mint leaves for even more flavor, texture, and nutrition!
How to Make Healthy Fruit Pizza
It is super easy. Plus, you can get your kids involved in making this! Turn it into a fun family time and get rewarded with a lovely treat for all your effort!
Preparations:
- First, cook the pizza crust according to package instructions. Once done, place it in a cooling rack and allow it to cool completely.

Step 1: First, spread the nut or seed butter evenly onto the Oggi’s Cauliflower Pizza Crust.

Step 2: Then, decorate it with the fruits. Finally, drizzle with melted vegan chocolate if you so desire.

Toni’s Recipe Tips for Fruit Dessert Pizza
- Slice the bananas right before you add them, so they will still look fresh when you serve the fruit pizza. Or you can brush them with citrus juice to prevent them from browning sooner.
- Follow the package instructions when baking the crust in the oven. Do not overbake, or your crust will turn hard.
- Make sure the crust is completely cool before adding the nut butter. Otherwise, the butter might melt and seep into the crust if it is hot or warm.
- Make sure to drain the fruits well before you arrange them on top. This prevents the crust from getting soggy. If you are using fruits that are very juicy, you might want to drain them for a bit before adding them.

FAQs for Healthy Dessert Fruit Pizza
Yes, you can. I used this one because it is vegan, gluten-free, and made of better-for-you ingredients.
It is considered healthier than most snacks or desserts because it is made of plant-based crust made with extra virgin olive oil and is naturally sweetened with fruits. It is also allergen-free.
Sure you can. However, the crust may begin to soften, and the fruits will be not as fresh the longer you keep them at room temperature.

How to Store Summer Fruit Pizza
It is better to serve it right away! And honestly, it’s so delicious, slices are often gone before you know it.
Fridge: If you have to store leftover slices, though, wrap them in a plastic wrapper, and store them in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Prep ahead: You can always bake the crust ahead of time and keep it in the refrigerator for a few days. You can then reheat quickly and assemble right before serving.
How to Serve Healthy Snack or Breakfast Pizza
Breakfast: If you plan to enjoy this for breakfast, a glass of Cashew Milk, Banana Breakfast Shake, or a Healthy Coffee Milkshake would pair well!
A La Mode: Serve with a scoop of something cold and delicious, like Peach Sorbet, Berry Tofu Ice Cream, Banana Ice Cream, or even Avocado Mousse.
Evening Treat: You can also pair it with Vegan Mexican Hot Chocolate or Mexican Horchata to unwind in the afternoon or evening.
